I love hole in the walls. I’ve always been told the wors it look the bes it tase (obviously that makes more sense said in an Asian accent). I was craving Banh Mi, which is a Vietnamese Sandwich so I jumped into my Prius and made the trek to Alhambra called Banh Mi My-Tho.

Those of you who live in the Los Angeles area know that in order to get good Chinese food, you need to trek to the San Gabriel Valley.

I love taking on new challenges so when my dad was in town visiting from Washington State and said, “I want to go ocean fishing”, well by all means, we were going to go ocean fishing.

Imagine a room not much larger than a broom closet, equipped with a pool table, electronic dartboard, a jukebox with an ample selection of Journey & Merle Haggard tunes, and a bartender that serves the meanest “Cape-Codders” I’ve ever had the pleasure of sucking down.

Simply put Dim Sum is small plates with small portions of small Asian samplings. There is nothing more fulfilling than having dim sum with friends on a Sunday morning.

What the pho is going on on Broadway!!!! I have a favorite little spot called Pho Broadway in Chinatown on……wait for it……Broadway Street.

Suzy Wong’s House of Yum is the latest creation of Chef Arnold Myint. Chef Myint is a Nashville staple, owning two other restaurants in the city, and he also recently gained international attention with his role in the 2010 season of Bravo’s reality show Top Chef.
